本单元是义务教育(pep)人教版小学英语教科书五年级上册的第一单元,重点学习描述人物相貌特征和个性特点的语言,学习形容词放在系动词 be(am,is,are)后面作表语,与系动词 be 构成系表结构,以及形容词放在名词前面作定语的用法,重点呈现核心句型 Who’s your art teacher? Mr Jones. Is he young? Yes, he is. 学生们平时谈论最多的话题就是自己的老师, 这些是最贴近学生们喜爱的话题,可以瞬间激发学生们的浓厚情趣,把新的知识点融入到学生们的真实生活中,学生们更喜欢学习,更愿意接受,并能很快达到内化的程度。

1.知识目标 (1)能够听、说、读、写本单元 old,young,funny,kind,strict,polite,hard-working,helpful,clever,shy,Ms 等11 个单词。
(2)能够听、说、认读本单元 know,our,will,sometimes,robot,him,speak,finish,等 8 个单词。
(3)能够听、说、读、写重点句型:Is he young? No, he isn’t.
What’s she like? She’s kind. 2.能力目标 (1)能够简单描述自己的外貌特征及性格特点,能够正确询问并回答某人的性格或外貌特征。
(2)能够在图片的帮助下正确理解吴一凡的日记,能够按照正确的意群即语音、语调朗读日记。
(3)能够掌握字母-y 在单词词尾发/i/音。能够读出符合-y

发音规则的单词,并能够根据发音品写出符合-y 发音规则的单词。
